Energy medicine – Qi Gong and Reiki

Gentle pathways to vitality and harmony

In Chinese medicine, Qi — the vital energy of life — flows through everything. Practices like Qi Gong and Reiki offer ways to nourish and harmonize this energy to support healing.

Qi Gong (“chee gong”) is an ancient internal art developed by Daoist practitioners in China. Through years of training in movement, meditation, and breath, the therapist learns to cultivate and guide Qi with intention and clarity, offering active support to your system.

Reiki (“ray kee”), originating in Japan, also channels universal energy for healing, but in a more receptive, passive way. While the experience may feel similar when you receive it, the practitioner’s role and method of working are subtly different.

In treatments, I may weave in elements of both Qi Gong and Reiki depending on what best supports your healing process. You don’t need to learn or “do” anything — simply resting and receiving can be deeply restorative.

If you ever feel drawn to explore these practices for your own wellbeing, they offer powerful tools for building vitality, joy, and tranquility. But for now, you’re warmly welcome just to enjoy the experience.

Get in touch if you feel curious — I’d love to support you.
