Classical Chinese Medicine
Healing is a living process — restoring harmony as you grow, unfold, and move with life. Classical Chinese Medicine is a system of restoring harmony
To find out what’s happening in the body when there’s pain or illness, we look at how the energy is flowing, blockages or weakness, heat-cold balance, dryness-moisture balance, and so on.
When we say “how the energy is flowing” this isn’t just a flowery way of talking. It means:
“How are all the body systems and organs communicating with each other?”
“Where is the miscommunication that’s creating pain and illness?”
“What needs to be stimulated and what needs to be calmed, so that everything works properly again?”
Once we have an idea of what’s happening, then we construct a treatment to communicate with the body. We may need to clear blockages, cool heat, strengthen weakness, wake up stagnant areas and so on.
