Chinese massage Tui-Na

Hands-on support for the body’s natural flow

Tui Na (“tway nah”) is a traditional form of Chinese therapeutic massage that works with the same channels and points used in acupuncture. It uses rhythmic techniques to move Qi and blood, release tension, and support the body’s natural healing processes.

In treatments, I often incorporate Tui Na as a complement to acupuncture. A few moments of skilled touch can help open pathways, soften areas of resistance, and prepare the body to receive needles more deeply and easily.

Tui Na can be firm or gentle depending on what’s needed — sometimes clearing stagnation, other times nourishing and calming the system. Every touch is guided by the Chinese medicine understanding of the body as an interconnected, living flow.

Tui Na is always woven thoughtfully into your session, based on what will best support your healing on that day. Standalone Tui Na sessions aren’t offered — it’s one part of the wider tapestry of care.

If you’re curious to experience this hands-on support as part of your healing journey, feel free to get in touch.
